Website Redesign for Wellness Directory

Project Description

TeleWellness Hub is a premium online directory connecting wellness providers with clients seeking virtual care, think therapy, coaching, holistic health, and more. It’s a modern platform built to support the next generation of wellness professionals and their clients in an increasingly online world.

Founder Marta Hamilton had a big vision but struggled to find a development team who could execute it—until she came to us. After working with multiple developers who couldn’t bring the dream to life, she enrolled in our Online Success Program, which gave her the clarity to communicate exactly what she needed.

From there, we redesigned the marketing site in Figma and WordPress, and tackled the technical backbone—a custom Ruby on Rails directory—to fix bugs, upgrade the design, and build the features she’d been asking for all along.

Now, TeleWellness Hub finally looks, feels, and functions the way Marta envisioned, and we continue to support her with ongoing updates as the platform grows with her business.

Project Goals
  • Redesign the front-facing website to clearly communicate the platform’s purpose
  • Improve functionality and UX on the Ruby on Rails-powered directory
  • Build trust and accessibility through QA testing, site security, and AA-level WCAG compliance
  • Create a scalable tech foundation to support future platform growth
Process
  1. Discovery & Strategy: Marta completed our Online Success Program, giving us a deep understanding of her goals and vision.
  2. Design & Prototyping: We used Figma to map and visualize every step of the user journey, from landing to signup.
  3. Development: WordPress for the main site, and updates to the Ruby on Rails system to fix bugs, update features, and enhance the design.
  4. Testing & Accessibility: We ensured a secure, smooth experience across devices, meeting WCAG AA standards and building user trust.
  5. Ongoing Support: We remain active partners in TeleWellness Hub’s growth, continuously refining the platform as the business evolves.
